A great way for employees to learn about the enrollment process and hear answers to common questions.

As a member of Costco leadership, you play an important part in supporting your employees through the Annual Enrollment process. Here’s what’s available to help them this month.

This month’s WITT topic: 2025 Annual Enrollment

November’s WITT content helps employees understand their benefit options and the enrollment process. There is a revised Dependent Verification process this year: Employees must complete the verification process for spouses and domestic partners to continue coverage in 2025. Their eligible dependents will automatically renew.

There is also an article to support employees looking to quit nicotine and tobacco, in recognition of The Great American Smokeout® on November 21. Employees will:

  • Learn the steps of the Annual Enrollment process  
  • Discover new benefits for 2025 
  • Understand how reimbursement accounts can save them money on taxes 
  • See how the body recovers when they give up nicotine

They include an overview of Annual Enrollment, an introduction to new 2025 benefits, and a tutorial on reimbursement accounts. These videos answer many common questions your employees may have, so encourage folks to check them out.

  • Use this month’s We’re in This Together presentation slides in your next staff meeting to show employees how Costco benefits can help them and their covered dependents.
  • Distribute Annual Enrollment materials. Your location should have received an Annual Enrollment packet that includes a variety of printed materials. Make sure to hang the 2025 Annual Enrollment poster and display the other materials in your breakroom.  
  • NEW! Get familiar with the 2025 Benefits Guide. This booklet, included in your AE kit, is a one-stop shop for all things benefits. It describes all the benefits and resources available to employee in each location in 2025.
  • Benefits Quick Reference Guide  
    • This guide has been updated for 2025. Take down and discard the guide for 2024.
    • Download and print on site to share with employees. Also available in Spanish for Mainland and Puerto Rico.
    • Order additional posters by visiting the HR Materials Ordering Site.
